This page is likely to be updated more often than the main blog page, but the posts here will be shorter, and most likely will simply redirect you to the respective Reddit post of mine.

Birthday Boy Cosmo: discussion
- 1.5oz citron vodka
- 0.5oz lemon infused tequila
- 0.75oz Cointreau
- 0.75oz lime juice
- 1oz cranberry juice
- 2-3 dashes orange bitters
Unnamed Tiki drink: discussion.
- 3oz dark rum
- 2oz light rum
- 1.5oz Malibu rum
- 1.5oz lime juice
- 1oz pineapple juice
- Top off with 2-4 oz of ginger beer
To be noted this is a two people drink. It fills a pineapple and is meant to be split. For a one person version split the ingredients in half.
- 1.5oz gin
- 1oz lemon juice
- 0.5 oz simple syrup
- 1 oz kiwi juice
- 2-3 dashes orange bitters
- 1 dash Angostura bitters
Cucumber Margarita: discussion
- 1.5oz tequila
- 0.5oz gin
- 0.75oz simple syrup
- 1oz lime juice
I know that for a classic Margarita one would use Cointreau in place of simple, but I’ve felt like it will mess with the cucumber flavor, hence the replacement. The garnish is a lime twist and a cucumber diamond (it’s not my idea, have seen it on Instagram).
Himbeergeist Negroni: discussion.
- 1.5oz Himbeergeist Schnaps
- 1oz Campari
- 1oz sweet vermouth
Note, I am talking German schnapps, which is basically clear brandy, not an alcoholic syrup!
Manhattan variation: discussion.
- 1.5oz Rye Whiskey
- 0.5oz Sweet vermouth
- 0.5oz cherry liqueur (McGillicuddy’s Cherry)
- 1 barspoon Maraschino liqueur
- 3 dashes Angostura bitters
- 3 dashes chocolate bitters
- 1oz rye whiskey
- 1oz dark rum
- A nice scoop of salted caramel ice cream
- Cola/Pepsi/Root beer
